This only works if you're training consistently every week. Most youth training is either too generic to work or too random to last. We do neither. Every Savage athlete trains inside a system built around how the body actually moves, how athletic performance actually shows up in sport, and how real progress gets made. Months and years, not weeks.

Athleticism isn't just about how high you jump; it’s about how long you stay on the field. We utilize a specialized movement model that prioritizes mobility where you need it (ankles and hips) and stability where you require support (knees and lower back). By training the body to move the way it was designed, we don't just increase performance. We bulletproof your joints against the demands of the game.

The game lives on one leg.

Sprinting, cutting, jumping, defending. All of it happens on one leg at a time. So that's where most of our lower-body work lives. Split squats, step-ups, single-leg RDLs, sled pushes. The gym should look like the game, not a powerlifting meet.

You can't be fast if you're not strong. You can't be powerful if you can't control force. We build the floor before we build the ceiling. The order isn't negotiable, and shortcuts cost more than they save.

The trunk does two jobs.

Power gets trained every single session. Medicine ball throws. Jump variations. Sled work. What we don't do is hang cleans. The technique cost is too high, the injury risk is real, and the carryover is no better than the tools we already use. We don't trade your athlete's joints for a stat line.

The trunk does two jobs.

The trunk's first job is to stay quiet while the rest of the body produces force. We train that with anti-rotation, anti-extension, and anti-lateral flexion work. Planks, loaded carries, chops, presses. The trunk's second job is to drive. The spine loads and recoils to create rotational power, sending force diagonally across the body from opposite shoulder to opposite hip through connected chains of muscle and fascia. Athletes who can quiet the trunk when they need to, and unleash it when they should, run faster, throw harder, and stay healthier. We train both.

Equipment is just equipment. Programs sit on a screen until a coach brings them to life. The real product is what happens between a coach and an athlete on the floor. Every set. Every cue. Every correction.
